The LAND Sustainment Shop - Everything you give comes back to The Land

What?

The Land Sustainment Shop is an online auction and thrift store carrying items of interest to the community of the former Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival (MWMF) and the myriad communities from the various events that sprung from MWMF.

Why?

The Land Sustainment Shop raises funds to support We Want The Land Coalition (WWTLC), a 501(c)(3) organization that purchased The Land where the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival was held for decades. WWTLC’s mission is as follows:

We envision a reality in which women and girls know with certainty that they are empowered to create the kind of world, society, and community they want to live in and pass on to the next generation.

WWTLC is a recognized nonprofit organization in the state of Michigan whose mission is to provide women and girls with unique programs, events, and experiences that celebrate women’s history, promote healing and empowerment, build women’s community, and encourage education and growth.

This is made possible through the maintenance, preservation, conservation, and stewardship of approximately 651 acres of land in Walkerville, Michigan, near the Manistee National Forest – an area we call The Land.

Since its inception, The Land Sustainment Shop has raised over $170,000 for WWTLC, including $50,000 for a special, off-cycle payment toward’s WWTLC’s land contract.
